The group meeting of the Pest Dynamics in relation to Climate Change [Target Crop: Groundnut] under National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) was held on August 2nd 2013 at NCIPM, New Delhi. Dr. C. Chattopadhyay, Director, NCIPM chaired the inaugural session, and Dr. S. Desai from Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad participated as a reviewer. The associates from Centers of Real Time Pest Dynamics (RTPD) of the ‘Pest Dynamics in relation to Climate Change’ under Groundnut of NICRA furnished below attended the meeting.

5. Dr. Mahabaleshwar Hegde, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka

All the members of Groundnut team and data base group with Research Associates and Senior Research Fellows of NICRA at NCIPM also attended the meeting.

The Group Meeting had
1. Presentation on the ‘Objectives and Activities of the programme by PI
2. Presentations on the ‘Work Progress’ by associates of RTPD centers
3. Status and requirements under RTPD by S. Vennila, PI NICRA at NCIPM
4. Demonstration of client software set up and web enabled reporting system of the RTPD by Shri Niranjan Singh
5. Discussions and finalization of the work plan for 2013-14 by all participants, and
6. Concluding remarks by Dr. S. Desai of CRIDA, Hyderabad

The action points of the Group meeting (Groundnut) for implementation by the centers of RTPD have been approved through the proceedings and communicated to all concerned.
