The group meeting of the Pest Dynamics in relation to Climate Change [Target Crop: Tomato] under National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) was held on August 6th 2013 at NCIPM, New Delhi. Dr. S. Desai from the Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad chaired and conducted the proceedings. The associates from Centers of Real Time Pest Dynamics (RTPD) of the ‘Pest Dynamics in relation to Climate Change’ under Tomato of NICRA who attended the meeting are:

  • All the members of Tomato team and data base group with Research Associates and Senior Research Fellows of NICRA at NCIPM also attended the meeting.

    The Group Meeting had
    1. Presentations on the work progress by associates of RTPD centers
    2. Demonstrations client software set up and of the web enabled reporting system of the RTPD
    3. Status and requirements under RTPD by PI, NICRA at NCIPM
    4. Trend of disease progression for different (epidemic&non epidemic) scenarios by Dr. N. Bhat
    5. Discussion and finalization of the work plan for 2013-14 by all participants and
    6. Concluding remarks by Dr. S. Desai
